Timberlake’s new CD has a bold title and a bold sound to back it up. Of the three CDs I bought today his is the most interesting not simply because it has the most dance provoking energy of any music I’ve heard this year but more so because he is exploring new territories. After my first pass the ballads echo an older, more soulful, sound. At times his falsetto can feel awkward though. Never the less, it has me ready to get out dancing again. It’s been too long.
As for the lack of posts. Its been a busy past two weeks. Another trip to Cambridge. Midterms. Homework. Work. Rutherfordton Road Trip. Intramural Sports. It just doesn’t slow down.
