Until Coolidge House opens up. Pretty amazing. The desk is coming along nicely. Here are some pictures, which are slightly out of date. (Picture One, Two, Three) Ok now to finish this post =)
The desk is now structurally complete. All that remains now is edging around the desk and painting. Screwwed pretty much all of the joints together which took over 100 some screws. Here are some pictures: Front Side, Other Front Side, Back Side. It’s neat seeing it progress from a random idea I had a few weeks ago, to slightly different plans once I figured out it would be partially in front of a window, to final, detailed plans, to built. I think that’s what I like so much about creative processes — seeing them come to life. I enjoy the process of building.
Speaking of building, I’ve been making good progress on ExploraBots recently. The project is by far the largest programming project I have designed and/or tried to build. The architecture design can be seen here. So far I’ve created a solid OS layer and am currently working within the Autonomic Layer. Once I have something which is visibly interesting I will post it here.
The other day I saw two amazing rainbows. An odd coincidence to see a pair of rainbows a month and a day after returning to the states. You can see the second rainbow directly above the first, although it is much lighter. You’ll have to mind my shirtless state in one of the pictures — I had just finished running when I saw them in the horizon. Now I can finally say I’ve seen a complete rainbow :)
