Now I’ve got some neat new things to talk about =) The first is a website called 43places.com. It’s a website all about where you’ve been, where you want to go, and other people who share these things in common. If nothing else I like it because it’s given me a good map of the places I’ve been (blue) and the places I want to go (orange). Really quite cool because you can see what other people have said or recommend and see pictures of places and everything. Good concept for a web site and great execution of it. Quite impressed. If you sign-up let me know your username so I can subscribe to your 43places.

In other news, news of which I will be brief about because it’s getting really late, I’ve decided the first thing I’m building for the house is a computer desk for my room. Went to Lowes today and did some brainstorming. The premise is heavily painted PVC pipe for the frame and wood for the working surface. Portable. Industrial looking. Sweet. I’ve never built a desk before but I’m looking forward to the challenge and getting to work with my hands on something other than a keyboard =) Pretty soon I’ll be posting concept and progress pictures. Oh boy! Haha, I really am pretty excited. (Excited enough I didn’t wait until tomorrow to begin trying to spray the PVC and see what I can do with it.)
